What common problems or worries do new parents have when they think about travelling with their baby or young children?
I think people often think it just isn't possible, but I can tell you it absolutely is, and it is fantastic! Much more fun to enjoy with the newest family member... Medical care abroad is another common concern, but ensuring you have travel insurance and have researched the medical system in the country you are visiting is key to a seamless, worry-free trip.

How do we choose the right destination when travelling with a baby?

What are your top tips for packing light with a baby?
It sounds impossible, but it's all about essentials and being resourceful! Prioritise multi-use items, research if you can buy nappies/wipes at your destination as you do not want to weigh down your luggage with common easy to find items.
If a new parent could only take away one or two key pieces of advice from your experience travelling with children, what would they be?
It is 100% doable and such a great experience! Don't overthink it, trust your instincts, and embrace the adventure. Your baby will adapt, and you'll create unforgettable memories as a family. Just pack your bags and go!
How do you manage flying with a baby or toddler?
Preparation is key! Timing flights around naps, having plenty of snacks and small toys, and being ready to feed during take-off and landing to help with ear pressure are all vital. Patience and flexibility are your best friends in the air! Honestly don't worry about what other people think either, as you will likely never see them again. If you are doing your best, nothing else matters!

Always pack a basic first-aid kit with child-friendly medication, and know how to access local medical services. CALPOL is essential dfor any trip abroad as you cannot always buy it even in places like Spain. Travel insurance is non-negotiable! Researching local pharmacies and doctors before you go can save a lot of stress if something unexpected happens.
