When it comes to travelling with a baby, clothing is not the place to be adventurous. Comfort, speed, and easy access win every single time.
My number one rule?
Zip sleepsuits over everything.
A good zip sleepsuit is quick to get on and off, easy for nappy changes (especially in tiny airplane bathrooms), and comfy enough for long travel days. No fiddling with poppers. No wrestling tiny limbs. Just zip, done, baby happy.
They’re also perfect for layering, add a cardigan or light jumper if it’s chilly, remove it when the cabin heats up, and you’re sorted.
Bonus points if you pack a spare in your hand luggage… because leaks, spills, and surprise blowouts always seem to happen at 35,000 feet.
Comfortable baby = calmer baby = smoother journey.
Trust me, zip sleepsuits are the unsung heroes of travelling with a baby.
